Structure, Accountability, Momentum
Forward-focused, action-oriented coaching for people who don't need therapy right now — they need structure, accountability, and a skilled partner.
Stuck, Not in Crisis
Not everyone who wants support is in crisis. Some people are functioning well but stuck — circling the same goal without traction, unclear on priorities, or simply lacking the structure and accountability to follow through on what they already know they want to do.
How Coaching Works
Life coaching is practical and goal-oriented: clarifying what you actually want, building a realistic plan to get there, and creating the accountability to stick with it. It draws on the same clinical understanding of behavior change that informs Dr. Rieke's therapy work, applied to forward momentum rather than symptom relief.
What the Research Says
Structured goal-setting and positive psychology techniques are among the most well-studied tools for building forward momentum:
- Specific, challenging goals reliably produce higher performance than vague or easy ones — an effect that holds up across people, tasks, and time spans.Locke & Latham, Current Directions in Psychological Science →
- A meta-analysis of 39 randomized controlled trials (6,139 participants) found positive-psychology-based interventions produced small-to-moderate improvements in wellbeing and a reduction in depressive symptoms, with the wellbeing gains still holding up 3–6 months later.Bolier et al., BMC Public Health →
This is a Tier Two integrative service and is private-pay, since it is coaching rather than clinical psychotherapy.
